Our mission of protecting people instils in us responsibility towards environment protection. We actively embrace social and technological change — and continuously optimise all steps along the value creation chain to ensure we keep our place at the top of the sustainability podium. Sustainability at uvex safety Ecological transformation We strive for a more environmentally friendly footprint across our entire value creation chain and aim to reduce our Scope 1–2 emissions by 42% by the year 2030 (base year FY 22/23). This reduction target has been verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Social responsibility We generate social benefits and help to bring about positive change in society and our supply chains through our entrepreneurial thinking and actions. Circular economy as a driver of innovation We are driving the development of circular solutions — with a focus on innovative materials and concepts, durability and Design for Recycling.
