For example, the uvex hypervision planet contains 35% recycled material in the frame, achieving a recycled content of 24% in accordance with ISO 14067. Furthermore, the cellulose acetate lens is made of 42% bio-based materials. Compared to the previous model, the weight has been reduced by 10% — saving material and conserving resources. Plastic-free, recyclable packaging reliably protects the product during transport. Sustainability at uvex safety Material Products featuring this symbol contain bio-based materials, materials that can be composted at home or recycled materials. Recycled materials covers both post-consumer recycling materials (PCR) and post-industrial recycling materials (PIR). Circular economy Products featuring this symbol are, for example, designed to last for a particularly long time, recyclable, intended to be used a second time or able to be repaired. Packaging Product packaging featuring this symbol is made of, for example, 100% recycled materials or materials that can be composted at home.
